I’m excited to share an update with you about our Universal App. This solution has matured into an all-in-one offering that includes content and account management, personalized onboarding and all the features needed for PDF to HTML conversion and viewing. It’s a perfect combination of software, services and real human 1:1 support. Everything a modern digital publisher needs.
As a result, we’ll be ending our Starter Plan on March 1st, 2023.
For our existing Starter Plan clients, I want to assure you that the change will not affect your current subscription. You’ll continue on your self service Starter Plan with no price change or service interruption.
Looking ahead, we’re working hard on new features, products, services, and solutions. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming months.

New Features and Improvements In the Universal App
We hear you loud and clear! Here are some of the new and improved features in the Universal App, requested by you.
Link to external subscription management from readers account page
We’re excited to let you know that you can now include a custom text with an external link for your readers’ account page. This will be useful if you need to redirect your readers to a external subscription management page. Please note that this is only applicable to readers with custom subscriptions that are created outside of the Universal App.
Restrict your readers from updating their email addresses
Readers can update their profile data in your Universal App publication, and now you can control whether they’re allowed to change their email addresses. This is important for data synchronisation, such as with tools like Zapier, where email addresses act as anchors. Keeping a consistent email address helps ensure accuracy and up-to-date data.
MagLoft’s Feature Request Board
We are eager to assist you in resolving your publishing issue. If you have a list of desired features in Universal App that would help you in resolving this problem, please post it on the MagLoft’s feature board and we will reach out to you.
Some examples of the requested features by you:
Ability to publish one article in more than one collection
Provide flexibility to add one article for multiple collections with different unlock types. Big thanks to David Durance from Living Now for the idea!
